FiA Pushing the Rock Pre-Order

$ 22.00

As the winds of Hurricane Matthew blew through Eastern NC communities and the rain came pouring down on October 8, 2016, few predicted how badly flood waters would over take homes and businesses. Modeling their leadership and relief outreach efforts on the community support built in and around Columbia a year prior, the F3 and FiA families of Greenville, NC knew they had to play a role. Accountability is about holding each other to a higher standard and leading by example. As F3 and FiA joined together, they quickly got to work, borrowing many pages from the F3 Columbia Flood Relief book by seeking guidance from those that led those efforts.

While out in the community---building sandbag walls, praying with those affected, evacuating people, mucking houses, or aiding in a major community clean up day---it became apparent that we were a welcome source of strength and leadership. The F3 and FiA Gear shirts signified that we were part of a community and people responded to our instinctive ability to organize and lead---traits many had refined during pre-dawn workouts in the dark.

The idea behind the Pushing the Rock shirt is to have a design both F3 and FIA (hence the woman holding the flag) can wear to get the PAX excited about the 3rdF. This design gives our community members a visual that they can easily relate to our values and principles. As Sway mentions in his backblast from the Columbia efforts (post here --åÊhttp://f3nation.com/2015/10/20/pushing-the-rock-an-anniversary-message-from-sway/), we meet in the dark and practice leadership skills while push each other to grow stronger physically and spiritually--inspiring us to carry and lift up others. Pushing the Rock day in and day out helps us grow so that when the opportunity presents itself, we are in an ideal position to lead and positively impact our communities.
