OH - Columbus

Region History:
FiA Columbus' official launch was July 21, 2018 at Wyman Woods Park in Grandview Ohio, which is a convenient location to downtown Columbus and many west side neighborhoods. Wyman Woods Park is known as Serendipity Hill and it is the current location of the workouts. FiA Columbus started with an average PAX of 3 in March 2018 and continues to grow to today with an average PAX of 10. We enjoy getting stronger together, building friendships, supporting each other, and building leadership within our PAX. All ability levels are welcomed and encouraged to come get stronger with us!

Logo Description:

The FiA Columbus logo was inspired by the history of Columbus Ohio and the pride that people in Columbus have for our city. The yellow stars that arch over the city and the yellow star in the middle of the city are similar to the stars on the Columbus City flag. There are 17 stars because Ohio was the 17th state to enter the Union. By placing the 17th star in the middle of the cityscape it represents that Columbus is Ohio's capital city. Our city's colors are red and yellow so we made the city red to go along with the yellow stars. Plus to live in Columbus Ohio one is usually a proud fan of the Ohio State so red and white also seemed fitting colors to have. Lastly we added the saying that "With faith all things are possible" because it mimics our state's motto and FiA provides many of us with the faith to be stronger women in all areas of our lives.
