Region Description:
FiA Spruce Pine launched April 1, 2017 at Riverside Park in downtown Spruce Pine, NC. The group was born after a small group of women committed to train for a challenging obstacle course race. Looking to be part of something bigger, FiA Spruce Pine sought to whole-heartedly embrace the ‘better together’ concept. Currently, workouts are held every Saturday morning. Women of all walks of life are encouraged to ‘post’ at a workout not only to exercise but to invest in each other and our community.
Logo Description:
The Spruce Pine FiA logo was inspired by female strength drawn from her mountain community roots. As Spruce Pine is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the logo depicts the beautiful mountain landscape as the back bone and muscle of our women. The pine tree is also represented in honor of the towns name as well as to signify strength and wisdom. As members of FiA, we gain strength from each other and truly are #bettertogether
